Membership to VMW is open to current active duty service members, National Guard, Reserve and Coast Guard service members as well as any veteran of the United States Armed Forces who has served since August 2, 1990.

Veterans of Modern Warfare (VMW), is a veterans service organization dedicated to serving our nation's most
recent war veterans. At Chapter One we are a scrappy bunch, and our  purpose is to support you and your families by:

 

♦ Providing education and information about the benefits     you have earned
♦ Assistance in obtaining your benefits
♦ Advocacy in issues important to our generation
♦ Camaraderie through locally based, national chapters

The primary purposes of the VMW are:

• Furthering comradeship amongst those who are or have been         members of the Armed Forces of the United States

• Honoring the memory of deceased veterans and members of the Armed Forces and aiding and comforting their survivors

• Encouraging patriotism

  Assisting hospitalized, disabled and needy veterans and their dependents overcome issues associated or attributed to their service in the Armed Services of the United States.
